Lancaster EPCs is an independent provider of Energy Performance Certificates. We provide EPCs for inclusion in Home Information Packs (HIPs) and for landlords. A HIP is a collection of documents relating to a residential property that must be made available to prospective buyers when a property is marketed for sale. As of October 2008 landlords must have a valid EPC before a new tenancy can be agreed.
If you are selling your home and require a complete HIP, this normally costs £230 (all inclusive) for homes in Lancaster. If you require an EPC only, this normally costs £79 (all inclusive), and discounts may be available for landlords with multiple properties.
